Overview

The Territory Account Manager will be responsible for outside & inside sales/channel development, supporting the Territory Sales Manager.  KEMP’s sales focus is a channel-centric sales model, however the Territory Account Manager will interact with both direct end-user customers and reseller partners.  

 

The individual will be responsible for Account/Channel Management supporting territories within Asia Pacific.  The Territory Account Manager will be expected to attain a revenue target associated with the accounts he/she owns and manages. Revenue will be derived from new product sales, sales of professional services and subscription services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all inbound sales activities within the assigned territories
  • Manage and organize all correspondence between sales executives and customers
  • Maintain customer data and records and keep track of and update all activities and sales within the Salesforce.com (CRM)
  • Monitor orders (bookings) and update these into Salesforce
  • Develop and cultivate strong professional relationship with clients and partners (resellers)
  • Provide sales and administrative support to sales executives and other team members such as scheduling appointments and organizing sales reports
  • Serve as back-up to operations for processing POs and issuing licenses
  • Work with and support Territory Sales Manager towards assigned sales/revenue goals
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings
  • Maintaining 30, 60, 90-day forecasts/pipeline reports
  • Proactively grow and maintain industry and product knowledge in addition to scheduled trainings
  • Maintain an open line of communication with outside territory sales representative

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years proven account management with outside sales/channel experience within the high-tech industry, computing network products an added plus
  • Proven record of achieving quota
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Salesforce.com
  • Experience working with Channels such as resellers, VARs, integrators, consultants, etc.
  • Excellent customer service, meeting and surpassing expectations
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Salesforce.com
  • Ability to work both independently and a team player on complex tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Confident, energetic, and organized with proven negotiating skills

Travel:

  • Up to 25% of travel required
